2022 Ford Ranger
The Ford Ranger is the mid-size truck that can do it all. Smaller than the F-150 but larger than the Ford Maverick, it's the perfect size to handle all the tasks of daily life. And because it's so comfortable, it's the ideal family vehicle. But make no mistake: the Ford Ranger is not a truck of compromise!
Great capabilities
All Rangers are equipped with the family's 2.3L EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine. Paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard 4WD, this engine can handle any job. Equipped like this, the Ranger can tow up to 7,500 pounds and handle 1,650 pounds in its most extended box.
Choice of versions
The Ford Ranger comes in different versions, the XL and XLT of the SuperCrew or the more luxurious XLT and Lariat of the SuperCab (extended version). A more spectacular option package, called Splash, is added this year. It adds some orange and black aesthetic elements to the body and 18-inch matte black wheels. The front grille also has orange trim that doesn't go unnoticed. An FX4 option package is also available to enhance the vehicle's suspension and off-road capabilities. An even more capable Tremor edition is also on the menu.
Full interior
The Ranger's cabin space is impressive. Passengers have plenty of headroom and legroom. Its 3.2-meter wheelbase provides enough room for the box but doesn't compromise occupant comfort. So does the onboard technology, which, while simple, is effective. It includes SYNC and an optional 8-inch screen that displays comfort and entertainment information.
