TorqShift® 10-speed Automatic Transmission with Selectable Drive Modes

All Super Duty® Chassis Cab models now feature a new standard Ford TorqShift® 10-speed automatic transmission, engineered to optimize drive ratios and improve shift performance. You can choose from five selectable modes  -Normal, Tow-Haul, Eco, Slippery, Deep Sand/Snow - to match operating conditions.


AdvanceTrac® with Roll Stability ControlTM (RSC)

Super Duty® comes with standard AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability ControlTM (RSC) and trailer sway control on single-and dual-rear-wheel models. Both systems use gyroscopic sensors and apply a combination of reduced engine power and selective wheel braking to help maintain control of the vehicle and the trailer in tow.

Engine - 7.3L 2V DEVCT NA PFI V8 Gas engine

The challenge? Design a gas-powered V8 built for strenuous duty, hauling heavy loads day in and day out, with diesel-like durability, performance and power. The solution: the all-new overhead valve, port fuel-injected 7.3L. This big-block "pushrod" V8 with variable-camshaft timing reaches peak power with optimal air-fuel ratio in the low rpm range, providing the responsiveness and that power commercial applications require. And for the durability also required, the 7.3L features a new cast iron block with four-bolt and cross-bolted main bearings plus a forged steel crankshaft.
